At Ceramic Minerals, we’re more than just a supplier; we’re your technical partners. We work directly with our customers to solve production challenges and optimize ceramic formulations, ensuring your processes are as efficient and cost-effective as possible. With ball clay at the heart of our portfolio, we lead the way in creating value for the global ceramic industry.

Ball Clay
Ball clay is the primary strength of Ceramic Minerals.

Ball clay is a highly plastic, fine-grained natural clay primarily composed of a complex mix of kaolinite, illite, montmorillonite, and other layered silicate minerals. It often contains quartz, feldspathic material, and varying levels of organic matter, which together give it excellent formability, strength, and fired performance.

Key Applications

  • 1. Sanitaryware
  • 2. Tableware
  • 3. Wall and Floor Tiles
  • 4. Glazes And Engobes
  • 5. Refractory Clays
  • 6. Construction Ceramics
  • 7. Electrical Porcelain Insulators
Semi Ball Clay
Semi Ball Clay is a supporting clay used in conjunction with other Clays.

Semi-plastic clay exhibits moderate plasticity and workability, falling between highly plastic and non-plastic clays, allowing for easier shaping and molding than non-plastic clays but less freely than high-plasticity clays.
